Southampton striker, Danny Ings scored the only goal in the game as the saints beat Tottenham Hotspur at Saint Mary's stadium on new year's day.
The saints' striker flicked the ball over spurs' defender, Toby Alderweireld. He then waited for it to bounce, and confidently fired in the volley.
With their third win in four games during the festive period, Southampton have secured their place at the 11th position on the premier league table, just above Newcastle who are currently 12th.
